Empathy of Light
Gallery G proudly presents Empathy of Light: Illuminating Sight into Insight, a retrospective of fine-art photography by Sudhir Ramchandran, bringing together photographs from across more than five decades of his practice. Moving across people, landscapes, architecture and places encountered over the years, the exhibition reflects his enduring fascination with observation and the behaviour of light.
Shaped by his belief that “a photographer must create value beyond visual appeal,” Empathy of Light looks beyond the subject itself to the light, moment and perspective through which it is seen — revealing how photography can transform the seemingly ordinary into something worth looking at again.
