The second edition of The Masters & The Modern, an amalgamation of works from top artists spanning decades post India’s independence is currently underway at Gallery G.
From the masters to the new world classics, this exhibition has proved quite popular with the art community since it opened on February 26.
Works of artists from the Bombay Progressive Artist’s Group, the Calcutta Artist’s Group, and the Progressive Painters Association of Madras are on display.
With paintings from maestros like M.F. Husain, K.H. Ara, F. N. Souza, and V.S. Gaitonde being exhibited along with latter day artists like Laxma Goud, Manu Parekh, and Laxman Aelay to name a few, this must-see exhibition has earned rave reviews from art aficionados and the discerning public alike.
